Pastor Frank says:
Today we continue a 10 commandments series. We are clever and capable people, and we are prone to find something to worship. The goal of the second commandment is to make us remember that while we may want to substitute something we can touch and see for our worship, God says not to do that. Your faith must be placed in the only one power to create, to communicate, to feel to experience your joy, your humor, your bitterness and your pain. God is God, and he alone is worthy of our faith and our praise. But we are clever and capable people, who are tempted to believe that we can do better than God himself. Jesus Christ reminds us to keep our eyes fixed on him, the object of our living faith.
