After Stephen is stoned, a great persecution follows, and the church is scattered. Saul sets out on the mission to destroy the church. But the Lord has other ideas. Directed and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the apostles and disciples who are scattered preach the Gospel wherever they go. Is it not amazing that this spread has been unceasing and ongoing ever since? Thank God for mission movements that motivate people to give their lives to the Lord in this way.
