Peter Knapp says, “Paul writes how Jesus provided a way for Jews and Gentiles to worship together, and even more than that: to be one body. This is so different from the practice of the temple worship in Jerusalem, where a fence kept certain people out. Jesus worked on giving access to those traditionally excluded during his earthly ministry and provided a way for all of us to be one through his redemptive work on the cross.
What about you and me? Do we even notice if someone is kept out?”
