This Valentines week has been special, as it brought us to the celebration of the love of a couple from our church who have tied the knot. Who knows the ways of love or of how God will provide for us? Think of all the love you have received over your lifetime and be grateful, for none of that love can equal the beauty and bounty of God’s love. It is profound and primordial and preeminent. God moves to make the world as a preeminent place for love. Love can go so wrong. But we receive God’s mercy as unmerited and unworthy recipients, yet out of love he keeps bringing love so that it becomes crucial, and not just for one day, but for all of life.
