This story about the early church in Antioch demonstrates that out of worship and prayer flows the mission of God. Barnabas and Paul are there teaching, instructing, encouraging, worshiping and praying with all of the believers there, all who had come to know, love and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Into this celebrating and unified church, the Holy Spirit spoke and asked Barnabas and Paul to be sent to Cyprus. The Holy Spirit is seen inspiring and equipping them by his presence in their worship in Antioch and then empowering them to go and seek the lost.
