Paul illustrates that he was determined to overcome every obstacle to tell the Thessalonians the truth. And the truth was being shared with honesty and humility. Their mission was not a trick, and it was not a human idea, it was Gods. So, Paul was most sincere in what he shared, not using flowery words or deceiving anyone. He says they came to the Thessalonians in the most gentle way possible, like a patient mother or an indulgent father. He is super thankful that they received this message as Gods own.
