The apostles have the Holy Spirit upon them, giving them the strength to overcome the fiercest opposition. The ruling authorities of the Jewish people and of the temple, try to stifle the Gospel, but this only emboldens the apostles even more. The prophetic voice belongs to a Pharisee named Gamaliel, who says that if this movement is of human origin, it will disappear. But if it is of God, then here it is. I believe it is true, do you? We continue to bear the full message of new life found in Christ with power to overcome the world and make you a new person.
