As the people of Israel reach the water’s edge of the Red Sea, they know that the Egyptian army are in hot pursuit. They realize that anything could happen. When they cry out to Moses, whatever had gone on before, he is ready with a hardened faith to trust God for the outcome. Yahweh kept the Egyptians back by the cloud of his presence and he opened up a way for them through the sea with a strong wind. Israel was saved by the passage through the waters, while the Egyptians entered a trap and were annihilated. Moses resolute faith helped them get through the crisis. Is your faith ready for the test?
