Moses begins to realize that his story is different. He is not a native Egyptian, but his bloodline is with the slave people– the Hebrews. He is an adopted prince of Egypt, and it does not take long for the palace to want to chew him up and spit him out. In his hostile context, Moses discovers the abuses his own people, the slaves of Egypt, endure. He could have closed his eyes to it but did not or could not. But when he resolved to do it by violence, he was subject to a death threat, He became a fugitive. He was being prepared by the Lord for his future work.
