Jesus knows his time is getting short, when John the Baptist is beheaded. He shows absolute authority over a legion of demons, delivering a man. He shows his authority over the stormy sea, calming the waves. He feeds a crowd bread, he heals a bleeding woman, and he raises a dead girl. Yet, the Pharisees and teachers of the law worry only about being outwardly clean. They feel proud, but Jesus is ready to respond to a woman who shows faith.
