I would like to take up a series in the Gospel of John. This series will focus on analogy. We have various things we are very familiar with, such as light, water and bread, among many others. And to help us understand who our Savior is and what God is up to in our world today, we can use these common, everyday occurrences to help us understand. The Gospel of John specializes in these and uses them to drive home that this savior, Jesus, our Savior, Jesus is come into the world to provide every basic need for life, in a completely holistic sense.
