Paul is arguing for the beauty of baptism. Being baptized carries with it the beautiful promise that we now belong to Jesus Christ our risen Lord. We are also baptized into the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Because the father has raised Jesus from the dead and the Holy Spirit is the inspiration for baptism and gives us the power to live our life for Christ and not for sin.
