Love is the most powerful concept in the Scriptures. Out of love God chooses to redeem the world. He was motivated to demonstrate his love to his people by blessing them and providing them the richest of provisions. He was never going to neglect them, but always bring them his beloved servants. It is no accident that Jesus says the summary of the 10 commandments is simply about love. Love the Lord your God with all you heart and soul and strength. From out of this storehouse of love provided you by putting God first, you will naturally have love flowing out of you towards a world full of people who are desperately crying out for love.
