The women come to watch and keep vigil, but an earthquake, and angel, the unconscious guards initiate a new episode. They are sent to witness to the disciples that Jesus is alive and they are to meet their Risen Lord. Their encounter with the Risen Lord emboldens them to share with the world this hope that is grounded in their own lived experience. What is this story and how is it your story?
