Pastor Frank says:
In the tenth commandments, thou shalt not covet, we are being commanded to find our contentment in our own situation. We are told not to look to our neighbor for an advantage, to be able to take away what is theirs to add to what is ours. When we do that, we contribute to a level of misery that is persistent and does not go away.
Everyone is looking for an easy street and they are happy to find it and take from another to establish it. But the Lord wants to set a boundary that we do not cross and it goes across our own conscience and begins in our own hearts. Can we be content and thankful for how God provides for us from day to day?
