Mary realizes and understands that this is the time of the Messiah. God has not forsaken his people or his promises. His mercy is going to impress itself upon the earth in every season. The precious gift of God is to be able to gather and to rejoice in his good works and his good promises and the coming of his kingdom. We hold this precious promise, that the purpose of peace is to allow us to live in freedom, to pursue our opportunities, and to give thanks to God. When we neglect to do that, we are living in a vacuum, where the most important reason for being neglected or ignored. You are free to do that, but you will face the consequences for it. Let us all pursue God’s agenda and seek out his purposes in our lives.
