Galatians is one of my favorite epistles of Paul. And in this chapter 5 he writes that our greatest legacy from Jesus Christ is to live as God’s people in true freedom. We have been bought with the most terrible price but now released from condemnation and granted new life in Jesus Christ, we are gifted by the Holy Spirit to absolutely light up this church community and this world with the brilliance of the love of Jesus Christ. We are told to be eager, trained, alert and keen to be in the Lord and to grow in the Lord. You can head in the wrong direction as a Christian, but there is nothing making you go that way. that is your own laziness and indecision. Run the good race and do not grow weary.
