Jesus is leading his disciples to his last supper. He shows them the meaning of true servanthood by washing their feet. He who would be greater must become lesser (foreshadowing the cross). Then he goes on to say that he is dipping his bread in a bowl and sharing with the one who would betray him. His is willing to be gracious and kind and to allow Judas to follow his own convictions and conscience, even if this would be part of bring Jesus to his own death. He says that this plan to bring him down will actually result in his being glorified and will result in everything brought to a conclusion. Jesus said that having shared with him in the meal the only meaningful result is that you get up and bring that love to all whom you meet. This means anyone and everyone.
