I want to root this message in Revelation because I think it is always hard to preach from this book, but it is also very rewarding. In this particular chapter, the illustration of 12,000 from each tribe, 12 X 12000 equals 144,000, is about completeness. The harvest of the Lord when it’s completed, will be God’s final and finished work, and the destructive power of the wind will be held back until that day. When the harvest is finished, there is a multitude that no one can count. Really, WOW. They are from every corner of the earth, and this will bring great glory to the Lamb who was slain. Alleluia!
