In this passage we are encouraged to be generous, knowing that all our resources come from the Lord and truly belong to him. We are given the privilege to be good stewards of our time and our resources. This includes nature, gifts and treasure. In this 2 Corinthians passage, Paul reminds us that it is our decision how and what to give. But he reminds to do so with open hearts. We need to be bold, courageous and generous givers. In your faith, trust in God as you are giving, as he is the one who provides. Most importantly, giving freely is your expression of thanks to God.
