We humbly follow our crucified Jesus along our journey of faith, as He helps us to see things clearly and speak about our faith – Mark 10:32-52

October 23, 2022

In Mark, chapters 8 & 9, Jesus heals a deaf and mute man, so that his tongue is loosened, and he spoke plainly.  The people are talking all about it.  He feeds 4 more thousand, but the disciples are finding it hard to understand.  Then Jesus heals a blind man and Peter confesses, “you are the Christ”.  Jesus predicts his death, receives the mantle of Moses and Elijah on the Mt of Transfiguration, two great witnesses for God, and then heals a boy from a deaf and mute spirit.  In chapter 10, Jesus reminds us to come to him humble like a child, predicting his death with very clear vision, and then helps a blind man Bartimaeus to see.  On our road of faith, like him, we are to follow Jesus, our Messiah and our Lord, and share the good news about Him.
