Part of the human condition is that we sometimes lose hope.  Isaiah was called in part to restore hope in God’s people they were in danger of losing.  Fighting or observing the culture wars in our day could cause us to lose hope, and sometimes it can get close to home.  Jesus faced many difficulties and opposition, yet he spoke often with his Father and did not lose hope or give up.  Jesus always looked to his Father and we should look to him to see God’s purposes.  God will improve our vision and renew hope and strength.
