In 1990, Dr. Suess saw the publishing of his last book.  “Oh the Places You’ll Go”.  The book opens with these lines: “Congratulations!  Today is your day.  You’re off to Great Places!  You’re off and away!”  And with those words, the young sets off on a journey that takes him through the joys and pains…the fun and fear… to the very highest of heights and even to the depths of the sea.  Much like Dr. Suess’ character, life can bring us a wide variety of wonderful experiences and the next moment devastating losses.  Today we will explore in Hebrews 12:1-3, the prescription for hope and the antidote for despair.  Dr Suess ends his book this way, “So be your Buxbaum of Bixby or Bray or Mordecai Ali Van Allen O’Shea… You’re off to great Places, Today is you Day!  You’re mountain is waiting, so get on your way!”  How then can we live a life of hope and faith that moves mountains?  Let’s find out!
