The Lord gives and distributes liberally. He views his church as a multi-faceted and talented group. He never determined what Israel was going to do with its land. He never told the man with the talents, this how to do it. He granted him perfect freedom to work it out for himself how to conduct himself in enterprising work. This applies to all of us. We are free to become all that we are meant to be. God grants liberally to empower his people to be fulfilling his mission and living a life well – generously giving of time and resources while using gifts and talents to the full.
